Getting started

How do I get a price for house cleaning?
Call (941) 705-5716 or request a free estimate online. We come to your home, walk through it with you, and give you a price for the cleaning you want. Starting prices for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home are on our pricing page.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The in-home estimate is free.
How soon can you come for an estimate?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours, depending on your schedule.
Why do you need to see my home before giving a price?
Every home is different. Size matters, and so does how the home is lived in between cleanings: children, pets and guests all change the work. Seeing the home lets us price it fairly and hear which areas matter most to you.
What areas do you serve?
Manatee County, plus Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Longboat Key in Sarasota County. That includes Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Bradenton Beach, Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton, Sarasota and Longboat Key.
Do you clean in every part of Lakewood Ranch?
Yes. We clean in Lakewood Ranch villages on both the Manatee County and Sarasota County sides.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM to 3 PM. We're closed on Sunday.
How can I reach you?
Call, text or WhatsApp (941) 705-5716, or email contact@helpmeclean.com.

Prices and payment

How much does house cleaning cost?
For a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, recurring cleaning starts at $180 per visit for weekly service, $200 for every two weeks and $220 for monthly. A deep clean starts at $400, and a move-in or move-out clean starts at $500. Your exact price is confirmed at the free in-home estimate.
What's the difference between weekly, every-two-weeks and monthly cleaning?
Every visit covers the same regular checklist. Monthly visits also include fans, vents, chandeliers, baseboards, doors and blinds every time. Weekly service rotates those details through the month, and service every two weeks alternates them from visit to visit.
How much more does a bigger home cost?
Cleaning every two weeks starts at $200 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, $240 for a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home and $280 for a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home. The price calculator covers any size from 1 to 10 bedrooms and bathrooms, and we confirm the exact amount at the free in-home estimate.
Why might my price be different from the starting price?
Home size and how the home is lived in between visits change the work. Children, pets and frequent guests usually add time. Add-ons like inside cabinets or grout cleaning are priced separately.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, check, Zelle and major credit cards.
How much are add-ons?
Fridge cleaning is $30 to $50. Inside cabinets are $50 to $100. Lanai or porch sweeping and garage sweeping are $30 to $100 each. Washing doors and walls is $50 to $100. Grout cleaning and carpet washing are $50 to $75 per room.
Do you publish prices for commercial cleaning?
No. Offices and storefronts vary too much, so we price commercial work after a free walkthrough.

What's included

What's included in a regular house cleaning?
Every visit covers the kitchen and bathroom counters, sinks and backsplash, kitchen appliances inside and outside (with a light clean inside the fridge), the outside of the range hood and cabinets, showers, tubs, tile walls, mirrors and toilets, dusting of furniture, decorations and lamp shades, vacuuming of carpets, rugs, chairs and couches, vacuuming and damp mopping of hard floors, the sliding door tracks and inside glass, the front door and entry, and making beds if needed.
What is rotation cleaning?
On weekly service, some jobs rotate through the month. On the 1st and 3rd visits we clean chandeliers, dust fans and vents, and remove cobwebs. On the 2nd and 4th visits we dust sills and ledges, clean doors, door frames and baseboards, dust blinds and shutters, and wipe switches and outlets. On every-two-weeks service the two groups alternate from one visit to the next.
What's the difference between a regular cleaning and a deep clean?
A deep clean covers everything in a regular visit plus the details that build up over time: chandeliers, fans, vents, cobwebs, window sills and ledges, doors, door frames, baseboards, blinds and shutters. In a two-story home it also covers the stairs, handrails and banisters. A deep clean is the usual first step before regular visits.
What does a move-in or move-out clean include?
Everything in a deep clean, plus a full clean of the fridge, inside and out. In an empty home we also clean the inside of cabinets and drawers in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry.
Do you clean an empty house or one with furniture?
Both. The checklist changes a little: in an empty home we clean inside cabinets and drawers, and in a furnished home we dust furniture and vacuum chairs and couches.
What's not included?
The garage and the lanai aren't part of a standard visit. You can add garage sweeping or lanai sweeping, or book our lanai and sliding glass door package.
What's in the lanai and sliding glass door package?
We dust and wipe lanai furniture, vacuum lanai rugs, dust fans, clean outdoor kitchen countertops, clean the outside of the grill and appliances, and clean the sliding glass door inside and outside. We price it at your estimate.
Do you clean chandeliers?
Yes, except intricate or delicate pieces.
Do you clean inside the fridge?
Regular and deep cleans include a light clean inside. For a full inside clean, add fridge cleaning ($30 to $50): we take out the shelves and drawers, wash them, wipe everything down and put it back. Move-in and move-out cleans already include the full fridge clean.
Do you clean ovens?
Yes. Kitchen appliances are cleaned inside and outside on every house cleaning.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. We bring all supplies and equipment.
Do you clean mold?
We clean bathroom tile, tubs and showers on every visit. Mold that goes beyond a surface clean needs a licensed mold remediator in Florida, and we don't offer that service.
Do you clean windows?
We clean the inside glass on windows we can reach from the floor as part of a regular cleaning, and we spot-clean the inside of sliding door glass and clean the tracks on every visit. The lanai package cleans the sliding glass door on both sides. We don't wash the outside of home windows. For businesses, window cleaning is quoted as an extra at the walkthrough.

Add-ons and other services

Do you clean grout?
Yes. We apply a grout cleaner and scrub the lines by hand with a grout brush, or with a scrubbing machine on larger floors. It's $50 to $75 per room and can be added to a cleaning visit. We don't seal grout.
Do you wash carpets?
Yes. We vacuum, pre-treat stains and high-traffic areas, then wash the carpet with a portable carpet cleaner. It's $50 to $75 per room and can be added to a cleaning visit.
Do you clean rugs?
We vacuum rugs on every visit. We don't offer rug cleaning as a separate service.
Do you do home organizing?
Yes. We organize closets, pantries, kitchen cabinets and drawers, and garages. Added to a cleaning visit, each space is priced on its own: closets run $50 to $200, pantries and kitchen cabinets and drawers $30 to $100, and garages $100 to $300. Organizing on its own is priced at the free in-home estimate.
Do I need to buy bins and baskets for organizing?
You can, or we can bring bins, baskets and labels. Supplies usually run $25 to $100, billed at cost.
What happens to the things I don't keep when you organize?
Nothing leaves without your OK. We take donation bags with us from closets and garages. Trash stays with you for your regular pickup.
Do you install shelves or closet systems?
No. We organize with your existing shelves, and we don't move heavy furniture, appliances or equipment.
Do you clean offices and stores?
Yes. We clean restrooms, break rooms, desks and work areas, floors and entries, plus ground-level windows and sliding doors. We clean one time, weekly, every two weeks or monthly, and we can come outside your business hours. We price commercial work after a free walkthrough.
Do you do post-construction cleaning?
No. We don't offer post-construction cleaning.

Seasonal and local

When is a good time for a deep clean?
Two good times are after pollen season, which is at its worst here in March and April, and before the summer rainy season. Any time you want a fresh start works too.
I live here part of the year. Can you clean when I get back?
Yes. A deep clean is a good way to open the home for the season, and you can switch to regular visits while you're here.
